Major Apple Platform and UI Scene Update

This major update introduces comprehensive Apple platform support, including native 3D content exports for iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and visionOS. It features a new Metal renderer, UI scene capabilities, and a powerful particle system with various effect options.

  • New: 3D Embeds (Beta) exports for Apple platforms. Works with Cloud or Local

  • New: App Generation (Beta). Now, you can generate Xcode projects directly from Spline. Works with Cloud or Local

  • New: UI scenes (Early Preview). A new way to create 2D user interfaces that blend in the 3D space, all from the same editor

  • New: UI states and events. Now you can trigger events from 2D to 3D, and vice versa

  • New: UI frames, a new object that allows you to render UIs in the 3D space

  • New: Particle System. You can create particle effects (like fire, rain, snow, etc.) on Spline

  • New: Particle Forces that allow you to simulate collisions, attraction, and vortex with particles

  • Small improvements and fixes
